EmojiPop is a Chrome extension that lets you type :emoji: short codes in any web text field and
replace them with the matching emoji character.
None.
EmojiPop does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data, browsing history, text content, or usage information. There is no account system, no analytics, no telemetry, and no remote server.
EmojiPop runs entirely inside your browser as a content script. When you type a colon followed by characters in a text field, the extension reads those characters locally to match them against a list of emoji short names that is bundled with the extension at install time. When you press Enter (or click a result), the extension replaces the typed text with the corresponding emoji character.
That is the full extent of what the extension does with anything you type. Nothing is logged, saved between page loads, or sent anywhere — not to the extension author, not to Google, not to any third party.
EmojiPop requests permission to run on all websites (<all_urls>). This is necessary because
the extension's purpose is to provide emoji autocomplete in every text field you use across the web. The
permission is used only to inject the matching logic into pages; it is not used to read, monitor, or transmit page
content.
EmojiPop does not use any third-party services, libraries that phone home, or external APIs.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at the same URL with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes (for example, if the extension were ever to add network features) will be called out at the top of this page before they take effect.
